 David Valentine

After an overwhelming response from Western Washington home owners, OutToday.Com has found the winner in their search for the “Oldest Water Heater in the Area.”  The winner’s name is David Valentine, whose home is located in Des Moines.

This winning water heater was the oldest submission, having been installed when the house was built in 1940. It uses ceramic insulators and wire heat elements in a dry tube. Valentine found this out last year when one of the heat elements died. Unfortunately, due to its age, you can no longer purchase replacement parts for this type of water heater. “Too bad,” Valentine says, “Since it has worked fine up until now.”

The water heater was replaced with a Noritz Tankless Gas Water Heater ( http://noritz.com ). Noritz is excited to participate in this giveaway to tout their “go green” tankless water heater. Further details on this green technology can be found at http://tanklessisgreen.com.

Out Today provided full service on this installation for no charge.

The prize was installed on Tuesday morning at Mr. Valentine’s home, and Out Today’s hilarious “bad plumber Lucky” (Everett actor Gene Kelly) was on hand.
